Personal Zoom lessons for KS3, GCSE, IGCSE and A Level students, taught by an experienced UK Computer Science teacher.

Whether your child needs help with one tricky topic before an exam or wants steady support across the whole course, I offer 1-to-1 lessons built around what they need.

Who I teach

I specialise in Cambridge International (CAIE) IGCSE and AS & A Level Computer Science, and I can cover any exam board, including AQA, OCR, Edexcel and WJEC/Eduqas.

  • KS3 Computing: building confidence with programming, computational thinking and the basics of how computers work. Ideal for home-educated students.
  • GCSE and IGCSE Computer Science: Cambridge IGCSE 0478 is my specialism, and I also cover all UK GCSE boards.
  • AS and A Level Computer Science: Cambridge 9618 is my specialism, and I also cover all UK A Level boards.
  • Revision for any UK GCSE, IGCSE or A Level Computer Science.

I work with school students, home-educated students and private candidates. I am particularly Home Ed friendly as I home educated my own children.

How it works

One-off sessions. Ideal for exam preparation, a topic that hasn’t clicked, mock exam review or help with programming.

Regular lessons. Weekly or fortnightly sessions that follow the syllabus, build skills steadily and keep your child on track through to the exam.

All lessons take place live on Zoom, so there’s no travel and you can learn from anywhere. We use a shared screen for coding, worked exam questions and diagrams.

What lessons can cover

  • Python programming and problem-solving
  • Theory topics such as data representation, networks, hardware and security
  • Algorithms, pseudocode and trace tables
  • Exam technique, including how to answer longer coding and extended-response questions
  • Past paper practice with feedback
